Accessibility Statement

Updated August 2026

Downland is built for farm families, and farm families include people of every age and ability. We want every farmer, landowner, and family member who uses Downland to be able to plan their future without barriers.

Our Commitment

Downland, Inc. is committed to making godownland.com and the Downland platform accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

What We Do

We design and test with accessibility in mind, including sufficient color contrast, resizable text, keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, descriptive labels on forms and controls, and alternative text for meaningful images. We review our core user flows with assistive technology and include accessibility checks in our release process.

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a finished state. Some content or features may not yet fully conform, and third-party services we link to or integrate with may have their own accessibility limitations that we do not control. We are working to identify and resolve issues on a continuing basis.

Feedback and Assistance

If you experience difficulty accessing any part of our website or platform, or if you need assistance completing any step of your planning journey, we want to know and we want to help. Contact us at howdy@godownland.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line, or by mail at Downland, Inc., Austin, Texas. Please describe the issue and the page or feature involved. We will make reasonable efforts to respond promptly, to provide the information or service you were seeking through an alternative method where possible, and to fix the underlying issue.
